We do individual round DVDs for the drivers, officials, marshalls,
crew, and other mad buggers who stamp all over the UK chasing the narrowest,
fastest, tarmac sport in the world. Watching this sport can seriously help your
driving licence, I now drive like a granny. None of the video is speeded up,
despite many petrol heads accusations'.
WE use a Canon XL1S with an L series 20X zoom and a Sony FX1 High definition
video camera for the offboard footage, and anything from 1 to 5 high quality onboard camera
kits setups to record each from the drivers view!

We have produced DVDs of all of the mainland 2004 rounds of the Nicholson
McLaren MSA British hill climb championship and all of the rounds in 2005. |
|
We
started the project in April 2004 filming the hill climbs, the first Loton DVD was
23 minutes long. In June we were authorised to film the rest of the championship
and so we covered the remaining mainland rounds. In the end we produced 14 DVDs
covering the championship which make very good watching. We try to cover the run
offs and some of the atmosphere of each venue and later in the year we moved to
2 camera and some 3CCD footage. For 2005 we have invested in a professional 3CCD
camera, as well as a better second camera and several high quality onboard
camera kits. They worked wonders, several hill records are now under their belt.
Some of
it is remarkable.
