View from the electric chair

Apologies from me and my dad for missing Harewood at the weekend but we had other commitments again, which was to go up to Scotland on the Friday 30^th June.  It was a quick drive up there because the roads were nice and quiet.  The party was in a place, which some of you folks from Scotland may know, called Lairg.  The weather was, as my dad said, surprisingly warm for that part of the world!

Well done to young Mr Moran for outshining your dad and Mr Groves.  Mr Groves, in the yucky yellow Gould, must be slipping up or feeling the pressure of Scot Moran because as far as I know he had a spin on the first run off.

Well done to our good old friends, the Mason boys, for getting the car out again. 

Was there a problem, I wonder, with the Groves - Ranson Gould because dad said they had it on a truck with someone looking at the engine?  I hope that if there was a problem it wasn’t too serious. 

A bit of us, well me and my dad are really upset that we missed this round as it was clearly exciting.

Well done to Dave for beating Will at a hill that you have never raced a car at.  Bad luck Joy for not quite bettering Will.

Hope the Channel Isles go well and we are sad to be missing them because they are by far the most exciting rounds.

Good luck everyone and especially Mike for the Channel Islands rounds.
