Hi folks the bright spark from the electric chair again. Lots of people went off the track this weekend at Gurston. I am very happy that Tim Mason was all right after his big off. How could you tell if he had bumped his head? Well done to team Moose for two second places this weekend, bad luck mike better luck next time. Pity you woke me up when you turned up on Sat morning. Tony Hunt’s new engine was very quiet and it made no noise at all. It is a great shame that the parrot wasn’t there to hear the car go up the hill. I must say me and my dad liked Tony’s new crash helmet - will it make him go faster or not? I missed turbo Toet last weekend at Gurston, will he be out this weekend at Shelsley and the question everybody would like to know is this - will he keep it on the black stuff or not? Plus will he have it lagged up to the brim or not? I also must say very well done to the voice of Moto GP, Toby Moody for what I think was about a 4th or 5th place in the class that he was in. I reckon Bill should lend him a drive of the car when Lloyd or himself are not driving because I think after I was so hard on him he actually did very well. Will pinky get any better this weekend in his pink caterham? Dad and me think that Roger Moran has got some work to do because at this rate Scott is going to beat him! I think that Scott could give Martin Groves a good run for getting the number one back on the Moran car this year after nine years. Good luck to the Moran boys plus the mechanic Dave Wilson and his lady co-driver Joy. Well done to Steve and Lynn Owen for getting Trevor Willis’ long awaited OMS V8 out at Gurston. I really liked the colour and I think that after a few meetings it will be one of the cars to watch. It is meant to be a really nice weekend at last weather wise. Hope to be there at Shelsley from about lunch time on Saturday.
